Dark World

What you know,
Is not what is known,
What you thought,
Was never what it was

Theres more to it,
Than you ever imagined,
Theres so much to it,
That can't even be spoken of

Who dare to speak,
Everything they know,
Who dare to risk,
The only life they got

What remains untold,
Remains the mystery,
What remains unheard,
Remains deep beneath

There are untold stories,
There are unreal incidents,
That you can never digest,
That you'll never accept

The world as it is,
Ain't known to you,
What lies in the dark,
Will never see light

Blogging : Tribute I

So we are all bloggers, atleast can claim to be so cause we all blog.
I still remember my friend in school during school days telling me, "You should Blog", well at that time I was like, "Blog?? , What for??". Atleast I used to think like that. Never had any idea what to write or for what to write on. Teachers used to say my language was good, maybe cause I didn't do so well in the literature part, which dealt with studying Shakespeare. I never gave much of a thought to blogging then anyway.

But then out of nowhere and when I was too jobless to do anything else, I made a blog and started writing out some of those bad experiences I had, maybe to be self content that somewhere out there someone may read my blog. And during that time blogs were like getting famous, simple people's blogs were gaining popularity so I thought I too can share my little experiences through my blog. Well since I wasn't so serious about this I rarely wrote and updated stuff. And it was not until I met a friend through the social network Orkut that I started reading blogs. Then cause of her I read her blogs, she writes pretty well you know. I thought I should show her my random piece of work. And she was so supportive and kept encouraging me to write more. Thanks to her I started writing a bit more. With her as the sole reader and the evaluator I kept writing and she used to read and give comments. And from her blog only I found the Indirank widget, so I signed up on that site and added the widget on m page. At that time I felt that lower rank was better and had a rank around 85 or so, not to mention it all happened almost a year ago. Later on cause of college, and other random stuff there wasn't much time to blog around. But I used to write up random poems as statuses and notes in my Fb account when some lyric pops up in my mind. Usually it all was done through my phone, now I kind of miss that phone too. A Nokia 6210, a prefect blend of slide and keypad with quite large buttons which made it easy to type. Now its a touch gen world and typing on a phone is hell lot harder with chances of typos rising higher than ever before and auto corrections make it harder. And so whenever I used to log in on PC, I used to copy paste all the poems from my Fb into my blog. The way I type on Facebook is quite different you know so I din't bother much to correct all the spellings though, which is why I haven't posted most of them on Indivine for reviews. I know it may be a little irritating for you guys but if your interested to still read, please take a look at them.

Now now I haven't had the Indirank widget on my blog for quite some time after I changed the template of the blog. Its been just two or three weeks since I got back to blogging, and that too all because of her. She won an HTC Wildfire, and I was like OMG, if a blog can get you awards why not, I am wasting time doing nothing anyway, I can get back to blogging and see how good I am at the least. Went back to Indiblogger after ages, my blog wasn't even added there, I just had an account there. And felt awesome when I saw that people read my posts when I submitted them. I am very thankful to all of them for reading my blog and giving me inspiration to write more. And from one of those blogs I found some nice features which I put on mine as well(though mine still doesn't look half as good as that blog).

So this blog is rather much of my thanks giving to my friend for her support and to Indiblogger for being such an awesome network for connecting Indian bloggers all over the world. Feels good to be blogging, though I still have ways to go. And all of these numbers fascinate me. Thank you all for your support.

Music : Present or Past Era ?

This picture was the main reason why I even thought about this topic. Is it really true that music has been degrading over the years rather than going from strength to strength. Now anyone goes around making some music videos and then just posts it on Youtube or Facebook and it spreads on and people get famous. Isn't it a bit too shocking if everyone does that. I have heard this Rebecca Black song only once till now and right now since I don't even remember how it sounded like, I am going to listen to it one more time. Seeing 15 million hits on youtube gives me the freaks. What is actually happening to all these people.

First it was Justin Beiber, to tell the truth I heard "Baby" for the first time on a weird site and hearing the voice I felt it was a girl singing it, and since I wasn't so much aware of it I never realized it till I saw the music video. Of course there are lots of fans for him and he has got talent.

The other main reason for me to think on this subject is that Dad doesn't like most of the English songs I listen to but he used to have awesome collections of english songs on the 70's , 80's . Disks of Pink Floyd , Deep Purple and much more. It seems that was the era of pure rock songs, what is rock now is a mere shadow of what rock used to be back then. maybe thats why the singers and bands of that era can never be compared to anyone of this generation. I may not be able to enjoy all of the songs of the past but there are some really awesome songs that I love so much like "Shoot to Thrill", "Sweet child 'o  Mine" , "Smoke on the water" ,and more. What happens now days in mostly music thats integrated with technology. Too much modulations unlike the raw and pure spirit of music in the previous era. Respect for them for what they were, what they still are , and what they will always be : Legends.

So what would be your take on the previous era and the present era of musicians and bands. Come to think of it , the fear I have right now is seeing the next generation play instruments on their iPhones, iPads or Android devices. Now the world is in a smartphone after all and almost all future enhancements are smartphone oriented. Lets just wait and see what the future holds.

Slavery behind veils

It so happened that after a tiring night shift at work, I woke up at around 2pm, then had some food and played the rest of the game and then decided to check out what all happened on Facebook. Was just browsing through news feeds and saw a post by one of my school buds, saying "I dont abuse through statuses but this one deserves", I let it go and then after some time somehow it came in front of me again. As I had nothing great to do, thought of checking it out to see what it really was.

Read the content of this link : http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/the-dark-side-of-dubai-1664368.html .

Seriously this is a share, really need people to read this and realize the truth. It might take quite a bit of your time, do take your time to read it out. I never thought or expected slavery to exist in this 21st century world, and of all places in one of the richest countries in the world. And i really need to share this cause i know people with the same dreams, wishing and hoping their dreams come true if they go there :  Dubai of all places is hell hidden under the veil of luxury, fame, riches and fortune. I remember friends saying "I want to go to Dubai when I am older", and so on. What the world sees is a place where the richest people in the world live, even I wished i could be there as i used to be fascinated by the Exotics and Imports they showcased. Most of the worlds best supercars can be found there and that too lots of them. Money, power and a dictator what could be worse than living life as a forced slave with no hope. Plain daylight cheating supported by the Police who are supposed to be for the people: it seems they are there for the money, money and money. Even those who suffered once and are now enjoying a happy life dont seem to care for the suffering people, knowing how hard it is for them.Money is power,a ruler supported by greedy corrupt officials.

In this 21st century where robots are taking over humans in doing most of the work, where most human work can be substituted by a machine, who would ever want to live a life like that?
A life where you are denied your basic human rights, where your given less value than a pet, treated so miserably that you would just wish it rather ended than drag on like this.
Will the families of the people be knowing this bitter truth? The families living in the homeland maybe under the assumption that all is well and life is heaven over there. When you get a job abroad and if its Dubai, you and your family will be thrilled and those lowlife agents offering the poor people jobs promising huge salaries , giving dreams of a life of a prince. All people who go there may not suffer so , depends on the jobs they are in , but if its labour  then you are done for. This is the life that awaits you. I just have a question , what do people do with all this money?? You cant take it with you in your grave when you die anyway.
